I have been taking allergy shots for grass, weeds, and cats since 2006 and venoms since April 2008. Before I started taking allergy shots, I had re-occurring sinus infections all year. Within 20 minutes of being in a home with cats, I would be congested, have itchy eyes and chest symptoms. Now I maybe have one sinus infection a year and can sleep 2-3 nights at my sister-in-law's home with her two cats.

During the fall of 2008, I was stung on my right foot by a wasp and had to go the ER. I had diffuse itching and hives, and my foot swelled so bad that I couldn't walk. That winter, I was tested for venoms and found out that I am allergic to all bees and wasps in the state of Montana. I immediately began taking allergy shots for venoms. As of the summer of 2010, I was stung by a wasp, and I only had an inch size local reaction. I was thrilled! Today I continue with the venom shots. That have worked for me, and the staff at Montana Allergy and Asthma Specialists is exceptional!
